At the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals’ annual conference, which recently took place at Cocoa Beach, Christina Pilkington, Director of Administration at The Osceola Chamber, was named the 2022 Florida Chamber Professional of the Year.

Pilkington, who has been with the Osceola Chamber since 2015, was chosen by a group of her fellow Chamber professionals from around Florida, and played a significant role in the chamber receiving US Chamber of Commerce’s Five Star Accreditation.

“The mission statement of The Osceola Chamber is ‘Champions for Business and The Osceola Community.’  Christina’s effort both exemplifies our mission and enables all our members to be champions in their own right. She deserves this award for consistently going above and beyond,” 2023 Chairman of the Board Allison Beeman shared.

Christina has undergraduate degrees from the University of South Florida and a Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida.  As the Director of Administration, Christina attends all Area Council board meetings, and coordinates their events, sub-committee meetings, projects, and speakers.

“It is humbling to be part of a team of professionals that excel at a job which empowers people to achieve their best and, at the same time, effects positive change in the community.  This work cannot be done by any one individual, but there are those among us who best represent the sacrifice, dedication and initiative required to be successful in our chosen career.  Christina Pilkington is a perfect example of the best the Chamber profession has to offer,” The Osceola Chamber President/CEO John Newstreet shared about Christina.

The Osceola Chamber’s Executive Vice President Cindy Lewis won this award in 2018 and Robin Hughes, Director of Professional Development in 2019. Additionally, FACP named The Osceola Chamber the 2001, 2017 & 2021 Chamber of the Year.

Serving Osceola County since the early 20th Century, the mission of The Osceola Chamber is to be “Champions for Business and the Osceola Community.”  The Osceola Chamber is a nationally accredited five-star chamber and three-time “Chamber of the Year” for the state of Florida.
