The Osceola Chamber on Wednesday recognized 39 graduates of Leadership Osceola, one of the Chamber’s signature programs, adding to a countywide network of alumni focused on collaboration, service, and problem-solving.
Founded by the Osceola Chamber in 1989, Leadership Osceola is a five-month program that equips participants with local knowledge and connections through hands-on learning, site visits, and briefings with decision-makers. The Class of 2025 explored core community systems including public safety, healthcare, economic development, and education.
“At the Chamber Foundation, we know that when people and resources come together, great things happen for both business and community,” said Sue Ring, vice president of strategic initiatives for The Osceola Chamber. “Leadership Osceola helps people connect, work together, and find solutions. The Class of 2025 is ready to make a real difference in Osceola County.”
Participants said the program broadened their perspective on the community’s strengths and needs. “Leadership Osceola challenged me to look at our community from every angle, to see not just the successes, but also the needs and opportunities,” said Eva Maria Pabón, Residential Horticulture Agent II with UF/IFAS Extension Osceola County. “It showed me how my skills and passions can be part of the solution, and I’m honored to join a network of leaders who are committed to working together for lasting change.”
With this cohort, the Leadership Osceola alumni network now includes hundreds of graduates serving in key roles across the county.
What’s next: Applications for the next Leadership Osceola cohort open Sept. 1, 2025. For details, visit theosceolachamber.com/leadership-osceola/ or email sring@theosceolachamber.com. A high-resolution class photo is available from The Osceola Chamber.
