It’s said often, the holiday season is the most wonderful time of the year, and it truly is for most people in and around the community, but for some, it’s a reminder of the struggles they deal with every day – financial challenges, health challenges, and in life challenges in general.

District 4 Osceola County Commissioner Cheryl Grieb is inviting the community to a free, drive-thru Christmas Food Distribution on Saturday, December 11 from 10:30 am to 1 pm at the Marydia Community Center, located at 707 Sawgrass Trail in Kissimmee.

The food distribution will consist of Christmas Dinner Boxes and an Eye of Round Roast Beef and will be distributed to the first 120 Osceola County families to attend the event.

The drive-thru food distribution event is in partnership with Osceola County, the Mercy Foundation, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida with food donation boxes being distributed per Osceola County family.
