The Salvation Army of Osceola County is partnering with Osceola County Commissioner Peggy Choudhry District 1 to host a free, mid-year, back-to-school backpack distribution on Saturday, January 28 from 10am – 12pm at the Salvation Army of Osceola, located at 700 Union Street in Kissimmee.

The drive-thru event will allow parents to conveniently remain in their vehicles and receive backpacks filled with essential school supplies. Children must be present to receive items.

The event is in collaboration with Walmart, Staples of Winter Garden, Florida Technical College, Embrace of Celebration, Youth Power Group of Kissimmee (YPG), Masa Action Fund, Crayola Experience Orlando, and other community partners and leaders.

Supplies will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Registration is not required.
