On March 16, 2019, the Osceola Council on Aging will be hosting their March for Meals St. Patrick’s 5K Run/Walk presented by Kissimmee Utility Authority at the Kissimmee Lakefront Park. This fun run event was created to bring awareness to our community of senior hunger and to raise funds for the Meals on Wheel program. Registration begins at 7:30 AM with the race starting at 8:00 AM.

This year’s 5K Run/Walk is being held the day before St. Patrick’s Day so have fun with the color “green” and show your support by wearing your lucky green to celebrate ending Senior Hunger. Put together a team and participate in the “Team Challenge” category and win the “Most Spirited Team” and/or “Largest Team” in 2019.

This race is a great way to get involved and the best part is its FUN and for a GOOD CAUSE! There will be awards for the top 10 male and top 10 female finishers plus the top male and female 65+ finisher.
