The Osceola Council on Aging (OCOA) is set to host its 20th annual March for Meals St. Patrick’s 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 15 at Kissimmee Lakefront Park. This annual community event raises essential funds to combat senior hunger in Osceola County while bringing runners, walkers, and supporters together for a lively St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

Participants of all ages are invited to run or walk the 5K course, kicking off at 8 AM, then enjoy a festive post-race celebration featuring awards for top finishers, vendor booths, and a vibrant St. Patrick’s Day atmosphere.

Exciting New Raffle: Win a Ford Mustang Mach-E or Tesla Model Y!

This year, OCOA is adding even more excitement with a high-stakes raffle featuring a brand-new Ford Mustang Mach-E or Tesla Model Y! Only 2,000 tickets are available for $100 each, and the grand prize winner will have the choice of driving away in a new vehicle or taking home $30,000 in cash.

To keep the anticipation high, a 65-inch TV will be given away each Monday to one lucky entrant leading up to race day! The grand prize drawing will take place at 9:30 AM on March 15.

Registration & Race Details

  • Early Registration (through March 1, 2025): $30 for adults (13+), $25 for children (12 & under).
  • Race Day Registration (if space allows): Opens at 6:45 AM.
  • Team Challenge: Groups of five or more enjoy exclusive discounts and compete for “Most Spirited Team” and “Largest Team” honors.

Awards & Prizes

  • Cash Prizes for the top three male and female finishers:
    • 🥇 $500
    • 🥈 $250
    • 🥉 $100
  • Top 10 Male & Female Finishers recognized, plus awards for top male and female seniors (65+).
  • Kids’ Dashes (for ages 7 & under) take place at 9:15 AM, following the 5K.

All registered participants will receive a finisher medal and commemorative T-shirt.
