The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is investigated a shooting that reportedly occurred earlier Tuesday northwest of Champions Gate near Davenport.

According to an agency report, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of shots fired at the StoneyBrook South subdivision. When deputies arrived, they located a scene of a possible shooting but could not locate any victims. Deputies were later contacted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a shooting victim dropped off at Dr. Phillips Hospital in Orlando. The shooting victim was later identified as Wolph Lutherking Luma, 20. Luma later succumbed to his injuries.

It is believed Luma was attending a house party in the area, and the Sheriff’s Office said it believes this is an isolated incident. That was the extent of the information provided.
