Congratulations to the #LadyKowboys on their 4-1 victory over a team many doubted they could beat, Timber Creek. Way to go ladies!!!!

The Lady Kowboys started off the game in the right fashion by getting on the board early, scoring two runs in the first inning.

In one of our interviews with Coach George Coffey last week he said he was bringing the same game plan the team has succeeded with all season, but that Timber Creek had some real string hitters. Osceola proved to everyone that they had the hitters and that they were able to stifle Timber Creek’s hitters, allowing only one run throughout the game. Good base running put Osceola up by four in the fourth inning in the 9A State Semi-Final and Osceola fans were sensing a victory was.

The Lady Kowboys escaped the fifth inning with #13 Liane Santiago giving up only one run after Timber Creek loaded the bases, and the score remained the same as the teams entered into the 7th inning.

The Lady Kowboys fought hard and closed out the game and now move on to the Regional Championship at home, and Positively Osceola will be there to cover the exciting end to an amazing season for the Lady Cowboys!
