Osceola Magic guard Mac McClung has been selected to participate in the 2024 Panini Rising Stars, which will be played on Friday, Feb. 16 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana as part of NBA All-Star 2024. TNT will televise the annual showcase of premier young talent at 9 p.m. ET.
McClung has played and started in 25 games in the Showcase Cup and regular season for Osceola, averaging 24.9 ppg., 4.4 rpg., 6.8 apg. and 1.0 stlpg in 35.2 minpg. He has led (or tied) the team in scoring seven times and in assists 15 times. He has scored in double figures 25 times, 20+ points 22 times and 30+ points five times. McClung has also recorded three double-doubles and distributed 10+ assists three times. McClung and Alondes Williams of the Sioux Falls Skyforce will be the first standard NBA G League contract players to ever participate in the event.
