On Thursday, June 13, 2019, Tim Weisheyer, Osceola County School Board Member – District 3, was sworn in as the President of the Florida School Boards Association for the 2019-2020 school year during the 2019 FSBA/FADSS Annual Summer Conference. Mr. Weisheyer will serve as the voice of education in the state of Florida on behalf of nearly 3 million students.

Mr. Weisheyer has lived in the district he serves (District 3) for more than 26 years and is a proud graduate of the Osceola School District. He is the President/Broker of Dream Builders Realty, located in Osceola County, and has been a Realtor for more than 15 years, and is a Past President of the Osceola County Association of Realtors.

Passionate about serving our community, Weisheyer has spent nearly 20 years teaching and leading student ministry and has traveled as a speaker for youth conferences, education seminars, and parenting training. He has volunteered as a coach for Poinciana Youth Soccer, is a member First Baptist Church of Kissimmee and the Rotary Club of Kissimmee South/Poinciana, and serves a Team Captain for All-Pro Dads. In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors for organizations such as the Education Foundation – Osceola, YMCA, and Grace Landing where he mentors foster boys. 

“Access to high-quality education is not only embedded in Florida’s constitution but greatly impacts the strength of our communities and the future of Florida’s economy. In the coming year, I hope to build bridges to facilitate conversations between our local school boards and state leaders so that we can improve education together.”
