The Osceola County School Board has announced that Kelvin Soto will be the next Board Chairman and Tim Weisheyer will serve as Board Vice-Chairman, effective November 19, 2019.
Chairman Soto was first elected to the Osceola County School Board in 2012. Kelvin served his country as a Navy Corpsman, and worked his way through college and graduate school on the GI Bill. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and has had a distinguished career helping those who needed it the most.
“I appreciate the confidence and support from my School Board and the school district to serve as chairman,” said Kelvin Soto. “Osceola residents have much to be proud of when it comes to arts, music, and STEM choices. The school district will continue to work its very best to bring more opportunities to our students.”
Osceola County School Board meetings were set for the first and third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the School District Administrative Complex, located at 817 Bill Beck Blvd. in Kissimmee.
