A man who Osceola County Sheriff’s Office investigators said had killed his estranged wife on Monday March 5th has been located and arrested, Osceola County officials said.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called Monday to a home at the Rio Hills Townhomes in Kissimmee where they found Michelle Rodriguez Laracuente, 42, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Through their investigation deputies determined that Olivencia-Alvarado, the victim’s estranged husband, had killed her, causing them to issue a warrant for his arrest for first-degree murder.

Osceola County Sheriff Russ Gibson that the Sheriff’s Office had a lead last week, but Olivencia-Alvarado but couldn’t be located until Sunday. He had possession of a gun when he was apprehended.

Olivencia-Alvarado was attested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
