Hello, I’m Mayor Olga Gonzalez from the City of Kissimmee, and today for the Mayor’s Minute…

I want to remind motorists that the project to resurface and improve the Church Street project continues in front of Kissimmee City Hall. The parking area located in front of City Hall is currently under construction. So, please be aware of traffic changes as we continue moving forward with this project.

Around the corner is the Monumental 4th of July event at Kissimmee Lakefront Park. This event for the entire family will include an area for kids to play, live music, food vendors, and the most awaited entertainment of the year, fireworks. This is an event you won’t want to miss.

Also, Kissimmee City Hall will be closed on Monday, July 5, in observance of the 4th of July holiday- Independence Day. Solid Waste pick-up for Monday continues as scheduled.

If you have any questions about your solid waste pick-up dates, remember that you can visit our website and check your scheduled route by entering your address. Visit Kissimmee.gov/sanitation
