I’m Nathan Blackwell, Mayor of the City of St. Cloud.

The holiday season is in full swing, and we’ve got lots of great events planned here in St. Cloud for you and your family. The City’s annual tree lighting celebration will be downtown in front of City Hall on Friday, December 3rd from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Festivities include singing, elf driving school, crafts, and much more, plus the lighting of the city’s tree in front of City Hall. Mark your calendars; you won’t want to miss it!

And, you’ll certainly want to join us on Saturday, December 4th at 10 a.m. for the annual Christmas parade, which starts at the lake and comes downtown before heading back to the lake. The parade is guaranteed to chase the bah-humbugs away and get you in the holiday spirit! If you can’t join us in person, tune in to Spectrum Cable Channel 499 to watch it live.

Plan to stay around downtown on Saturday for the holiday craft market, which runs Saturday and Sunday. It will feature lots of great vendors with unique gifts for everyone on your holiday list, plus lots of food vendors and a car show! And don’t forget to visit our downtown businesses while you’re there!

We hope to see you soon at these events here in St. Cloud….Your Centerplace for Life!
