Positively Osceola’s Mayor’s Minute with St. Cloud Mayor, Nathan Blackwell

I’m Nathan Blackwell, Mayor of the City of St. Cloud.

The City of St. Cloud is holding a FREE Back to School Bash on Saturday, July 31^st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Cloud Civic Center. Come enjoy games, bounce houses, face painting, sweet treats, school supplies, and more! You won’t want to miss it!

July is National Parks and Recreation Month, and to celebrate, we’re inviting you to go on a scavenger hunt. We are hiding a key somewhere in a city park every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday throughout July. Follow our city’s Facebook page, where we’ll post a clue every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to help you find the key. When you find it, take a photo and post it to social media with the hashtag It Starts In Parks. Then bring your key to the St. Cloud Civic Center to claim your prize.

And last but certainly not least, I want to give a hats off to the men and women of St. Cloud Fire Rescue for the assistance they recently gave to Osceola County Fire Rescue on a fiery crash between two large trucks on the Turnpike. We are proud of the brave men and women of St. Cloud Fire Rescue!
