The Florida Department of Health in Osceola County (FDOH-Osceola) has received the first allocation of the Moderna vaccine. Once vaccinations are completed for EMS personnel, the FDOH-Osceola will expand vaccinations to persons 65 years of age and older and healthcare personnel with direct patient contact.

Persons 65 years and older and health care personnel interested in receiving a Moderna COVID-19 vaccination may call 407-343-2000 to register. Once connected, follow the prompts to receive more information on COVID-19 and remain on the line for the next available agent. Please note there may be extended wait times due to higher call volume.

To expedite registration, FDOH-Osceola is adding an email option. Persons 65 years and older and health care personnel interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccination may email Osceola.Health@flhealth.gov and note “Vaccine” in the subject line of the email. In the body of the email, include only the full name and phone number of the person seeking vaccination (no other health information is needed).

Health department staff will call to schedule appointments based on vaccine availability.
