A semi-truck was driving eastbound on Hwy. 192 around 4:45am on Monday near Holopaw when it struck a 2019 Kia Optima in the rear killing its 72 -year-old driver from Daytona Beach, who for some reason had stopped in the right lane.
Alcohol was not a factor in the fatal crash and the investigation is ongoing.
