The St. Cloud Fire Rescue Department, along with Osceola County Fire Rescue and EMS, and the City of Kissimmee Fire Department are working together to “Keep the Wreath Green.”
The goal of the program is to remind residents of the importance of fire safety through the holidays. At the start of the campaign, the wreath, is lit by all green bulbs, then, for each serious house fire that unfortunately takes place through the month of December a light bulb is lit. In the first half of December, a number of green light bulbs have been replaced by red.
Positively Osceola, joins our local fire rescue agencies in reminding the community to follow safety guidance regarding heating, cooking, electrical safety and smoke alarms. Let’s work together to have a safe, and joyous holiday season, with no more bulbs turning red on the wreath!
