It’s time to play ball! Opening Day for St. Cloud Little League is Saturday, February 26, and this spring season will be one for the record books with over 950 kiddos registered to play on 79 teams! That’s right… almost 1000 players will take the field this season in St. Cloud – an increase of over 30%!
St. Cloud Little League has been around since 1977, providing a positive environment for the development of sportsmanship, character, and athletic skill among the St. Cloud community’s youth, all while providing a way for kids to develop a deep appreciation and love for the game of baseball and softball.
On Saturday, February 26 at 8 am the 2022 St. Cloud League season will officially begin, and it’s all open to the public – as community leaders, volunteers, coaches, and players come together to enjoy the annual celebration filled with entertainment, delicious food, and of course, 80 games that will be played throughout the day!
Positively Osceola would like to thank the City of St. Cloud Parks and Recreation Department for providing a great facility for the youth in our community to experience the sport of baseball. We’d also like to join the St. Cloud Little League in saying thank you to ALL the volunteers, players, coaches, and everyone that will make this Little League season the best ever! Play ball!
