On Saturday night, shortly before midnight, 22 year-old Terry Morales Aheran from St. Cloud was driving his 2018 Subaru northbound on John Young Parkway in Kissimmee when he fatally struck a pedestrian.
According to FHP, Aheran left the scene of the accident but his highly damaged car was spotted by an Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputy and pulled over at Patrick Drive and Dillingham in Kissimmee.
Florida Troopers arrested Aheran, charging him with DUI and for leaving the scene of a fatal crash. Troopers suspect Aheran’s impairment to be drug related. A blood sample was obtained and sent to a lab for testing.
The fatal crash remains under investigation and Aheran was booked into the Osceola County Jail. The name of the pedestrian who was killed has not been released at this time.
