The St. Cloud Police Department is once again rallying the community for its annual “Cram the Cruiser” back-to-school supplies drive, taking place on Saturday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter in St. Cloud.

This year’s effort is a collaboration with Hopkins Heroes and the City of St. Cloud, aiming to collect essential school supplies for the Back2School Bash scheduled for Saturday, August 9.

Community members are encouraged to stop by and donate new school supplies such as:

  • Crayons, markers, and highlighters

  • Pencil cases and 3-ring fabric pouches

  • Glue sticks and erasers

  • Dry erase markers and colored pencils

  • Composition notebooks and loose-leaf paper (wide and college ruled)

  • 2-pocket folders with prongs

  • Children’s scissors and pencil sharpeners

  • 3″ binders

  • Backpacks (17″ & 18″)

Thanks to overwhelming support last year, organizers completely filled the back of a patrol truck. This year, they’re hoping to surpass that milestone.

Can’t make it in person? Donations are still welcome at the St. Cloud Police Department lobby, 4700 Neptune Road, where a drop box is available for convenience.

This is more than a supply drive—it’s a chance for the community to come together to ensure students start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
