Construction at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center for their new Emergency Department and Main Entrance is well underway and on schedule for completion this Fall. As construction enters the next phase, additional road closures and traffic adjustments are needed to meet the scheduled construction timeline.

Effective Friday, May 25, 2018, the existing main entrance driveway of the hospital (next to Wound Care) will be completely closed off. Currently, this driveway is being used as an ambulance entrance only; however, the driveway will now be completely closed to all thru traffic.

Closure of the main entrance driveway will remain in effect for the duration of the construction project until the new Emergency Department and Main Entrance are open to the public in the Fall.

The current Emergency Department can be accessed by patients, visitors and emergency vehicles via Kansas Avenue or 15th Street.

Additional signage will be placed at the road closures and throughout the campus to ensure traffic flow.
