Ramp and road closures associated with the State Road 417/Central Florida GreeneWay Capacity Improvements project will continue this week.

•Monday, January 30; and Tuesday, January 31, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The northbound and southbound ramps from Florida’s Turnpike to northbound SR 417 (Exit 251), for ramp work. Drivers will be directed to travel southbound on SR 417 to US 441/South Orange Blossom Trail (Exit 11) and follow the detour signs. Click here for the detour map.

• Monday, January 30; and Tuesday, January 31, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Orange Avenue under SR 417, for ramp work. Northbound drivers will be directed onto Town Center Boulevard and southbound drivers will be directed onto Wetherbee Road. Please follow detour signs. Click here for the detour map.

• Wednesday, February 1, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The Landstar Boulevard ramp to northbound SR 417, for road work. Drivers will be directed to travel southbound on SR 417 to US 441/South Orange Blossom Trail (Exit 11) and follow the detour signs. Click here for the detour map.

The Central Florida Expressway Authority is encouraging driver to allow extra travel time. Due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances, work could be delayed. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area for their safety and that of the work crews.

This work is for a capacity improvements project on SR 417 from International Drive to SR 528/Martin B. Andersen Beachline Expressway, which started in February 2021 and is expected to be complete by spring 2024.
