The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, with help from the Philadelphia Police Department, have made an arrest in pair of ATM robberies in Poinciana.

Tazwell Degaberto Berrios, 17, was arrested in Philadelphia Friday and charged with armed robbery with a firearm, armed carjacking, armed kidnapping, and petit theft in connection to incidents on Jan. 29 and Feb. 3 at the Bank of American on Doverplum Avenue. In both robberies, victims were robbed at the ATM machine and were driven out of the area by the suspects.

Sheriff’s Office robbery detectives were able to identify both juvenile suspects as Berrios and Victor Jahniel Velazquez, 15. Detectives were able to arrest Velazquez, who cooperated with detectives, and learned Berrios fled to the Philadelphia area. On Friday, Philadelphia Police Department and Osceola County Sheriff’s Office detectives successfully located Berrios, who was arrested.
