The Tampa Bay Buccaneers became the first team to play and win a Super Bowl in their home stadium after the Bucs stuffed the Kansas City Chiefs’ high-powered offense for a 31-9 win. Forty-three-year old quarterback Tom Brady went 21-29 for 201 yards and three touchdowns in Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fl.

What was touted as a battle between quarterbacks ended as an all Brady night and a battered Patrick Mahomes. Brady was honored as the game’s MVP and Mahomes ended the game with zero touchdown passes, something he hasn’t experienced all year.  The Chiefs were unable to score a touchdown all night as the Bucs defense stifled the Chiefs’ offense all night I’m Tampa,

Brady, who is often regarded as the greatest quarterback to ever play in the NFL, once showed why he receives that accolade, but this time he did it as a Buccaneer.  Brady joined former another QB legend, Peyton Manning as one of only two quarterbacks in league’s history to win a Super Bowl with two different teams.

Mahomes was sacked three times and threw for two interceptions. He ended the night with 270 yards passing, most of the yardage being picked up in the 4th quarter when the fate of the game already decided. Former Patriot Ron Gronkowski picked up two TD passes from Brady in the game, a sight fans were used to enjoying in New England.
