Taste of Nona officials announced today that they are changing the location for this year’s “Diamonds & Denim” tasting event from an outdoor location to a fully covered venue. The decision was based on the forecasts of rain and storms on the day of the event, Saturday, October 19. The new location for the event is the new parking garage in Lake Nona Town Center at 6855 Lake Nona Blvd. Guests will now be able to park and enjoy the event all under cover and avoid any showers or storms. Taste officials said, “We’ve got you covered.”

Diamonds and denim will shine no matter the weather Saturday, October 19, 2019, 5:00-9:00 p.m. This event will help Nemours Children’s Health Fund with all the proceeds from a silent auction featuring specialty items and gifts from community businesses. The Central Florida well- know band “Slickwood” will perform music to match the occasion from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. “Slickwood” will feature local artist Macey Mac, an America’s Got Talent season 13 finalist, throughout the evening.

The Lake Nona Regional Chamber of Commerce (LNRCC) announced this seventh Taste of Nona with title sponsor Shamrock Auto Body & Service of St. Cloud will feature a fun and glitzy theme of “Diamonds & Denim.” Chairperson of the event, Brandy Bennett of local business Creative Printing PGM stated the “Diamonds & Denim” theme promises everyone the opportunity to dress comfortably with some bling. She continued, “this year we will present our more than 30 participating restaurants and food vendors in larger venue filled with taste providers, a music stage, two bars along with all the other amenities.

We are also partnering with the Tavistock Restaurant Collection who will supply bar services and bring two of their restaurants, Chroma Modern Bar & Kitchen and Canvas Restaurant & Market.” LNRCC is providing tickets with discount pre-event pricing at www.lakenonacc.org or by calling the chamber office.
