The fall rodeo season is almost upon us at the Silver Spurs Arena! The now-annual Boots, Bulls and Barrels is Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The third installment of the event features three of rodeo fans’ favorite events: steer wrestling, bull riding, and barrel racing. Winners will take home cold hard cash, as well as well-earned bragging rights.

Tickets are $15 for adults; kids 10 and under are free.

The event has become a “must ride” event for cowboys in the Southeast, as contestants will go up against the clock (and one another) to win their share of the prize money.

If you come for the rodeo-ing, stay to meet the Silver Spurs Rodeo’s new Big Boss Chris Baker and the Miss Silver Spurs Court!

The Boots, Bulls and Barrels event benefits the Silver Spurs Riding Club’s annual scholarship fund. There will be four $2,000 scholarships awarded to graduating Osceola County seniors. Tickets are on sale online at www.silverspursrodeo.com, For more information, call 407-67-RODEO.

The event sets the stage for the heart of the local rodeo schedule later this year and into 2020, kickstarted by the 9th annual Monster Bulls on Feb. 15, a night where the biggest and baddest bulls the Silver Spurs will enter the arena and give some brave cowboys the ride of their life.
