On Tuesday October 8th, Osceola Sheriff deputies responded to a home off of N. Goodman Road in reference to a report of a burglary. The victim came home and found his home had been burglarized and that numerous items were stolen, including a firearm. The victim’s home surveillance showed a Hispanic man wearing work utility clothing committing the burglary.

On Thursday October 10th a citizen who saw the news story identified the suspect as Anthony Sanchez-Rosa. Detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of Sanchez-Rosa and contacted him where he worked.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Sanchez-Rosa attempted to run from deputies when contacted but was caught and arrested. He was transported to the Orange County Jail for Resisting Without Violence and an active warrant for Armed Burglary (Dwelling), Grand Theft of a Firearm and Grand Theft. He is being held on an $18,000 bond.
