Students from Tohopekaliga High School have been selected to create 15 ornaments for The National Christmas Tree Lighting outside the White House in Washington D.C., the only students selected in the State of Florida.

The tree will be lit on the Ellipse in President’s Park, and adorned by ornaments created by Tohopekaliga High School AP students from Ms. Adkins arts class. Ornaments from around the country will be on display in Washington from December 2- January 1.

Tohopekaliga High School has development into a school rich in creativity in many areas, including its graphics design agency developed by Ms. Jenny Mohess which last year saw Senior Salma Sanchez win the Adobe Graphics World Championship in California.
