Toho Water Authority has announced the closure to thru traffic on W. Bass Street between Union Street and Robinson Avenue starting at approximately 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4. The road closure is necessary to conduct an assessment for an upcoming sewer rehabilitation project in the area.

The assessment project is being carried out by Garney Construction and is expected to be completed and the road reopened later that same day. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching these areas, as workers will be present and speed limits may be reduced and sidewalks possibly closed and diverted.
