Toho Water Authority is currently installing a new water line in the Narcoosee Rd. area near Majestic Oaks. In order to conduct the installation and for the safety of workers and the traveling public, the outside southbound lane between Boggy Creek Rd. and Waterside Vista Lane is closed Monday – Friday from 9 am – 2 pm.
Sidewalk and area restoration is underway on Boggy Creek Rd. between Fells Cove Blvd. and Narcoosee Rd. and is expected to be completed by January 15, 2021. The Whisper Wind Drive entrance and exit to Majestic Oaks is no longer expected to experience temporary lane closures until the final restoration phase for Narcoossee Rd. An update will be provided once a timeframe has been determined.
The new water line will enhance water pressure in the area for customers and meet future needs of the growing community. The project is expected to be completed by March 2021. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching these areas, as workers will be present and speed limits may be reduced and sidewalks possibly closed and diverted. Flaggers will be in place directing traffic when needed.
