A crash on Sunday near Harmony in eastern Osceola County left two adults and one child hospitalized, and a driver facing charges, according to Osceola County Fire Rescue and EMS.

According to FHP, a man was driving a Ford Expedition in the westbound lane on Irlo Bronson Highway (US 192) when he  crashed into the back of a Toyota Corolla that was stopped at the intersection of Irlo Bronson and Arthur Gallagher Boulevard near Harmony High School.

A 39-year-old woman and 1-year-old child in the Toyota were airlifted to the hospital with critical injuries. A 46-year-old man, who was also in the Toyota, was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, according to FHP troopers.

The 29-year-old man who was driving the Expedition ran from the scene on foot, but was later arrested at a gas station and now faces a number of charges, according to troopers.

The Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS is encouraging the public to mindful of reduced speed limits through the Harmony area and to always wear seatbelts.
