Hosted by Tyesha Williams, the annual celebration featured a strong lineup of live entertainment that resonated with audiences of all ages. One of the afternoon’s standout moments came from O-Town Motown, whose soulful, high-energy performance brought the timeless sound of Motown to Kissimmee’s Lakefront.

Set against the scenic backdrop of Lake Tohopekaliga, the Orlando-based group delivered a polished musical experience that blended nostalgia with a strong sense of community. Drawing from the legendary Motown catalog, including the music of Marvin Gaye, O-Town Motown impressed the crowd with rich vocal harmonies, classic era-inspired style, and refined musicianship. Supported by high-quality musical tracks, the performance felt like a true journey through Motown’s golden era.

As families filled the Veterans Lawn, the music sparked applause and sing-alongs throughout the audience—adding an uplifting, celebratory energy to an event centered on unity and shared purpose.

The Unity Celebration was supported by event sponsors Experience Kissimmee, Kissimmee Utility Authority, and Toho Water Authority, along with community partners including the Osceola NAACP, the Black Empowerment Coalition, and the Full Sail University Black Student Union.

Organizers and attendees alike described the celebration as a meaningful reminder that Dr. King’s vision continues to resonate across generations. Through music, fellowship, and community connection, Kissimmee’s MLK Unity Celebration once again reflected the city’s ongoing commitment to honoring the past while working together toward a more inclusive and united future.
