Universal Orlando is extending their closure through April 19 as they continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The parks have been closed since the end of business on March 15.

According to Universal Orlando they are making decisions based on their concern for the health and safety of their team members and their park guests.

This decision includes their theme parks and Universal CityWalk. The Universal Orlando Resort hotels have also temporarily suspended operations.

They will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed, based on guidance from health agencies and government officials.
