Around 9:55am Sunday morning a fatal crash occurred on Pleasant Hill Road and Rosemarie Drive in Osceola County and involved two cars.
Sharon Rice, a 70-year-old woman, was exiting a private driveway in her 2016 Nissan Versa at 2100 Pleasant Hill Rd and attempted to make a right hand turn. By doing so she drove directly into the path of a 2018 Nissan Altima driven by 36-year-old Rose Rosario, who was driving southbound in the right lane, troopers said.
According to FHP, Sharon Rice died at a local hospital, and the driver of the other car, Rose Rosario, is in serious condition and was also rushed to a local hospital.
