A 24-year-old Kissimmee woman was killed in an early-morning crash when she lost control of her car and struck a metal pole at a high rate of speed as she fled the scene of an earlier hit-and-run, according to FHP.
The fatal crash took place around 1:05 am on Old Lake Wilson Road near Spine Road.
The FHP said the woman who died was involved in a minor crash at Old Lake Wilson and Sinclair Road and left the scene of the crash.
No one was injured in the first crash, and both crashes are under investigation, according to FHP.
