Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to be in Orlando Wednesday to meet with Gov. Ron DeSantis to discuss Florida’s phased economic reopening, according to a release.

According to the White House, Pence will deliver personal protective equipment (PPE) to a nursing home as part of the initiative to deliver PPE to more than 15,000 nursing homes across America. Afterward, Pence will join in a roundtable with hospitality and tourism industry leaders to discuss their plans for reopening.

He is expected to arrive at Orlando International Airport via Air Force Two at about 11:25 a.m. He will then make his way to Rosen Shingle Creek for a roundtable discussion with Gov. DeSantis, local hospitality and tourism industry leaders at about 2:40 p.m.

At some point on Wednesday, Vice President Pence will donate personal protective equipment (PPE) to a nursing home in the Orlando area.
