Toho Water Authority is announcing the closure to thru traffic on W Columbia Ave between Harbor Bay Ct and N Thacker Ave expected to reopen on November 5 has been extended through November 12. This closure also includes the side street located to the right of the Columbia Center (2350 W Columbia Ave). The extended closure is necessary to conduct additional repairs for the sewer rehabilitation project in the area. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. The project is being carried out by Garney Construction.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching these areas, as workers will be present and speed limits may be reduced and sidewalks possibly closed and diverted. Signage will be placed as needed to keep the traveling public informed of the project.
