On January 16th  Osceola County Sheriff Deputies responded to the Wal-Mart located at 2855 N. Old Lake Wilson Blvd. in Kissimmee at being called about two women who had attempted to steal 2 TVs. According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, two women had attempted to leave the store with two televisions that they had not paid for.

Walmart employees attempted to engage the women when they exited with the televisions, but they refused to stop. One of the suspects immediately ran away after being confronted, the second suspect turned around and pepper sprayed the employee before running away.

Both women were able to get away before deputies could arrive.

On January 18th detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Tourism Policing Unit (TPU) and Robbery Unit were able to identify the suspect that used the pepper spray as well as the car she used to get away. The woman was identified as 31-year-old Tyeisha Angella Shaw and was arrested by detectives for Possession of Chemical Agent by a Convicted Felon, Grand Theft, Battery and Resisting a Merchant.

This investigation continues as the detective are looking for more victims and the second suspect.
