Disney World has announced that it has updated its Face Mask Policy beginning April 8, allowing guests to temporarily remove their face covering while actively eating, drinking, or taking an outdoor photo, as long as you’re socially distanced from others, and are stationary(not walking around) as you take the photos.

Disney World has taken its face mask policy seriously, and has enforced, with a smile, when needed. The new rule will not apply to indoor locations in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, which is more likely indoors.

“Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo*, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time,:” Disney posted on its website.
