A number of national stores that normally have operating hours on Easter will be closed this Sunday.
That includes Lowe’s Home Improvement, which has been dutifully open amid the COVID-19 pandemic, “so associates can spend time with family and recharge” according to its website.
Target, Aldi, Publix, BJs Wholesale, Winn-Dixie, Trader Joe’s, Sam’s Club, Costco and ABC Fine Wine and Spirits will also be closed on Easter.
Although some stores will be open on Easter Sunday, people should not forget safe social distancing practices as they celebrate the religious holiday during the stay-at-home order in Florida.
If you need that emergency addition to those Easter baskets, among the retailers in Florida that have said they will be open for business on Easter Sunday, with hours (in general, you may want to look online or call your location):

- Whole Foods (open regular hours and still open at 7 a.m. for seniors only)
- Fresh Market (until 4 p.m.)
- CVS (10-7, pharmacies closed)
- Walgreens (most open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
- Dollar General (varied, many open until 10 p.m.)
