A 22-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder and home invasion after allegedly stabbing a man during a dispute over a bad tip for a pizza delivery.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Brianna Alvelo was arrested on Monday following the violent incident Sunday night at the Riviera Motel on E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee.

Deputies responded to reports of an incident and found a victim who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the events unfolded after the victim ordered pizza from a local restaurant earlier that evening. The suspect, 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo, allegedly became upset over the tip she received from the victim.

Later that night, Alvelo returned to the victim’s motel room accompanied by an unidentified male suspect armed with a firearm. The two forced their way into the room, where Alvelo attacked the victim with a knife, stabbing them multiple times.

On Monday, December 23, 2024, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Alvelo, charging her with home invasion with a firearm, attempted murder, kidnapping, and aggravated assault. She was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail without bond.
