The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office shutdown an illegal marijuana growing operation in a Kissimmee home on Monday, seizing $80,000 in weed.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Intelligence Bureau executed a search warrant on an illegal marijuana growing operation at a Kissimmee residence located on Pine Needle Trail, between Pleasant Hill Road and Lake Tohopekaliga, not far from Valencia College’s Poinciana Campus.

After discovering numerous marijuana plants in the home, 52-year-old Agustin De Armas Puente was arrested for the Trafficking Marijuana, Grand Theft, Producing Marijuana, and Theft of Utilities. He was transported to the Osceola County Jail and the investigation is ongoing.
