Saturday night around 10:30pm, three vehicles were traveling southbound on Florida’s Turnpike near mike marker 239 in Osceola County when a pedestrian, who was standing in the middle of the road, walked directly into the path of the vehicles and was fatally struck by all three.
24-year-old Valentina Yee-White was driving her 2009 white Ford Focus ahead of 45-year-old Leonte Suttons’s Semi-truck, and followed by Jesper Solbakken driving his 2019 Ford Mustang, when 21-year-old Willy Castano, who was standing in the middle of the road, walked directly into the path of the Ford Focus, was fatally struck and thrown into the outside lane where he was struck by the semi and then the mustang.
None of the drivers were injured and the crash is still under investigation.
