A 22-year-old Saint Cloud man is dead after a car crash on Neptune Road in Osceola County Monday.
Just before 5pm Monday night, 22 year-old Aderly Santana was driving his Nissan Sentra westbound on Neptune Road near the corner of Idora Boulevard in Osceola County when he lost control of his car and crossed the median into the eastbound lanes. Santana’s car was struck on the right side by the front of 76-year-old Paul Adames Rodriguez’s SUV that was driving eastbound on Neptune.
Both drivers were taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center, but unfortunately Santana died from injuries he sustained in the crash.
The crash is still under investigation and according to the Florida Highway Authority report, authorities are unsure whether alcohol was a factor in Santana losing control of his vehicle causing him to cross into eastbound traffic.
