A 31-year-old Kissimmee restaurant manager was arrested by the Osceola County Sheriff’s office after they said he raped a teenage worker in a bathroom while at work.

The Osceola Sheriff Marcos Lopez said the incident took place at a Pizza Hut restaurant on the west side of Kissimmee around 1:00 am on Aug. 26.

According to Osceola investigators, the 16-year-old teen, who only worked at the restaurant for a few weeks, said that Calvin Cooke, her manager at the Pizza Hut, had flirted with her when she applied for the job, then later interacted with her on Snapchat. The Sheriff said Cooke also gave the victim an electronic cigarette, as well as sending her inappropriate photos of himself.

Sheriff Lopez said that Cooke asked the teenager to clean the females restroom in the Pizza Hut, and when she entered to do the job, he followed her in, cornered her, and “performed sex acts on her.”

“Calvin Cooke was aware that the victim was underage, but he didn’t care. He did things that no adult should do to a child, Sheriff Marcos Lopez said during a press conference Thursday afterboon. “This child, 16, she’s gonna be scarred for life,” Lopez said.

The Sheriff said when the parents of the girl picked her up after work, she hold her parents, who then called 911.

Lopez said sheriff’s office investigators spoke to Cooke, and he admitted to what he had done. He also said Cooke had been fired from the Pizza Hut.

The teen said she was nervous about losing her job and didn’t want Cooke angry with her.

Cooke is charged with sexual battery and for transmitting information harmful to a minor. The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone that might have additional information, or may have been a victim of Cooke to contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222.
