A Kissimmee man attempting to cross U.S. 192 in Osceola County was fatally struck by a car early Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash took place on U.S. 192 at Locksley Lane at 2:25am, where troopers said the 56-year-old man was walking south across U.S.192, not in a marked crosswalk.
According to the FHP crash release, the man walked directly into path of the sedan that struck him being driven by a 30-year-old Kissimmee man.
The driver was not injured in the crash, and troopers say the crash is still under investigation.
