A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a road rage incident that took place in the Poinciana area on February 16.
Anthony Falu Jr. was arrested by Osceola Detectives and charged with Second Degree Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Carrying a concealed firearm, and Discharging a firearm in public.
Shortly after 7 pm on February 16, Osceola Deputies responded to the area of Marigold Avenue and Cypress Branch Road after receiving a report about a shooting. Once on the scene Detectives found that a victim had been shot twice from an isolated road rage incident between a motorist and pedestrians.
After investigating the incident and interviewing several witnesses, detectives determined that Anthony Falu Jr. was a suspect and placed Mr. Falu under arrest.
The victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.
