KISSIMMEE, Fla. — On Friday, UCP of Central Florida celebrated the grand opening of its new UCP Kissimmee Dr. Don & Cindy Diebel Campus, marking a major investment in inclusive education and pediatric therapy services for children and families across Osceola County.

The celebration brought together community leaders from across Osceola County and the City of Kissimmee, including State Sen. Kristen Arrington, State Rep. Jose Alvarez, Osceola County Commissioners Brandon Arrington and Cheryl Grieb, Kissimmee City Manager Mike Steigerwald, and Osceola County School Board members Bethzaida Garcia and Paula Bronson. They joined UCP leadership, educators, families and community partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, campus tours and a morning of family-friendly festivities celebrating the opening of the new campus.

Located at 155 W. Oak St. in downtown Kissimmee at the corner of U.S. Highway 192 and Oak Street, the new 37,000-square-foot campus is designed to provide high-quality education and pediatric therapy services for children of all abilities. The facility features innovative classrooms, advanced technology and specialized learning spaces where students with and without disabilities learn together in an inclusive environment.

“This campus represents the future of inclusive education in Osceola County,” said Dr. Ilene Wilkins, president and CEO of UCP of Central Florida. “We are thrilled to open the doors of the UCP Kissimmee Dr. Don & Cindy Diebel Campus and celebrate alongside the families, partners and supporters who helped make this vision a reality. We can’t wait to welcome students of all abilities into a space designed to inspire learning, growth and opportunity for years to come.”

The campus also includes an expanded pediatric therapy center offering physical, occupational and speech therapy services while creating more than 20 new professional positions, including teachers, therapists and administrative staff. Once fully enrolled, the campus will have the capacity to serve up to 350 students.

The campus was made possible in part through a $1 million gift from local philanthropists Dr. Don and Cindy Diebel, whose generosity helped make the project a reality and inspired the campus’s name.

Founded more than 70 years ago, UCP of Central Florida provides inclusive education, therapy and support services for children with and without disabilities. The new Kissimmee campus represents the organization’s continued commitment to expanding access to high-quality education and therapy services for children and families throughout Osceola County.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — El viernes, UCP de Florida Central celebró la inauguración oficial del nuevo Campus UCP Kissimmee Dr. Don & Cindy Diebel, una moderna instalación que ampliará los servicios de educación inclusiva y terapias pediátricas para niños y familias del condado de Osceola.

La ceremonia reunió a líderes comunitarios, entre ellos la senadora estatal Kristen Arrington, el representante estatal José Álvarez, los comisionados del Condado de Osceola Brandon Arrington y Cheryl Grieb, el administrador de la ciudad de Kissimmee Mike Steigerwald, y las miembros de la Junta Escolar del Condado de Osceola Bethzaida García y Paula Bronson.

Ubicado en el 155 W. Oak St., el nuevo campus de 37,000 pies cuadrados ofrecerá aulas modernas, tecnología innovadora y un centro ampliado de terapias físicas, ocupacionales y del habla para estudiantes con y sin discapacidades. Además, generará más de 20 nuevos empleos y tendrá capacidad para atender hasta 350 estudiantes.

El proyecto fue posible, en parte, gracias a una donación de $1 millón de los filántropos Dr. Don y Cindy Diebel, quienes dieron nombre al nuevo campus.
