The Association of Poinciana Villages’s  Trunk or Treat Halloween celebration and Fall Festival will be held this Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Activity Campus Parking Lot located at 445 Marigold Avenue in Poinciana.

During this event, residents will volunteer to decorate their vehicle with a Halloween theme of their choosing and give away candy to the kids who attend. Residents who are interested in volunteering can sign up by clicking here.

This free, family-friendly event, which is open to APV residents and the public, will provide a safe and fun environment for children to trick or treat. Children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume so they can parade through the line of decorated cars and receive their treats. There will be a DJ playing music and organizing games with the kids, plus food trucks and additional vendors. Vendor space is still available for craft vendors and businesses. For more information, click here.

After gathering treats, event guests can visit the Not So Scary Haunted House for a $1 cash entry fee. The LifeStyles Department is also looking for volunteers to work the Haunted House. If you are interested, please contact Trish Moore at trish.moore@fsresidential.com.

The event will happen rain or shine. Should wet weather become an issue, the event will be moved inside the APV Fitness Center Gymnasium and tables will be setup in place of the trunks.

The Annual Trunk or Treat is just one of the many major events APV hosts throughout the year for residents and community members. Other events include the Poinciana Beautiful Awards Gala, the Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular and the Annual Christmas Parade & Holiday Celebration.
